Joe Thomas is one of the most recognized Bass Anglers in America! His career as a Professional Bass Angler on both the B.A.S.S and FL:W Tours spanned nearly 30 years and accounted for multiple Bassmaster Classic qualifications and over 1 million dollars in Tournament Winnings!

He also wrote a highly acclaimed book about his experiences as a tournament competitor called Diary of a Bass Pro. That book gives an inside look at the lucrative fast-track of competitive bass fishing and highlights the difficulties of life on the tournament trail.

Adding to his long list of accomplishments, for the past ten years, Joe has hosted several hunting and fishing series on Outdoor Channel. "Angler on Tour" was the first reality based fishing show of its kind and ran for six seasons. In his current fishing series, "Stihl’s Reel in the Outdoors", Joe Thomas travels North America with friends and fellow anglers sharing tips and secrets learned from nearly 30 years on the pro tournament trail. “The reason I do this show,” explains Thomas, “is because I want to do something different. I want to see why Americans absolutely and undeniably love fishing.”
